Synopsis
Bend It is both an
homage
and a contemporary revision of the dance made (in)famous by
British-based artists Gilbert and George, who in 1967 declared
themselves 'living sculptures'. The film features two androgynous
figures dancing on plinths in an art gallery, to the same 60s pop tune
that the artists used when they were exploring the idea (and reality)
of life as art.
